Veterans Farm is a vibrant, working farm in the heart of downtown Taos, NM, where freedom, growth, and healing take root through meaningful farm work, shared nourishing meals, and hands-on agricultural learning.

Working at Veterans Farm is simple, purposeful, and welcoming. No prior farming or gardening experience is required.

Farm Workdays

Every Tuesday and Friday from 9am to 3pm we open the farm to veterans and volunteer gardeners. All are welcome. Please arrive at 9:00 AM on your first visit for a brief tour and garden orientation.

FREE FOOD FOR VETERANS

In the middle of our workdays, veterans and gardeners gather for a hot lunch. We prepare a simple meal with love and use ingredients grown on the farm when available.

💰 Stipends for veterans

Veterans who volunteer on the farm for four hours or more in a day are eligible to receive a $125 daily stipend.
